The EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum to be held in Baku

The EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum, organised by the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), took place in Baku on 8 June 2017.

The Business Forum aims to provide the EU companies operating in Azerbaijan as well as the EU businesses interested in the Azerbaijani market with a professional platform where they can discuss the current business climate in the country and establish trusting business relationships. The major topics of the discussion was focused on economic reforms in Azerbaijan, agriculture and food, environmental technologies, transport and logistics, ICT and e-Commerce.

The event included panel discussions and workshops, as well as business-to-business meetings. The forum was attended by more than 400 delegates from different companies, including international communities. Also the list of the particiapnts contained the government officials, experts of relevant public institutions and international company representatives. Among them was Mrs. Jana Krimpe, the head of the Azerbaijani company “B.EST Solutions”, the operator of “Asan İmza” mobile digital signature service. She participated the panel discussion and highlighted the innovations within mobile digital signature, cross border mutual recognition of digital signatures and other topical issues.
